What happens when your dominatrix-themed trade show event concept is dismissed as “highly inappropriate?” You find a different way to whip the client’s “Corporate Rock Star” concept into submission – and still drive an attendee response more intense than expected.

To make SpringCM stand out from the humdrum fuzz of typical content management conferences, we produced a geeks-can-rock-too photo shoot and executed the concept across a door drop package, hotel key card, and concert ticket-esque raffle vouchers.

Attendee response was astronomical, with more than half of all recipients dropping by the SpringCM booth with their tickets for the promotion – more than double the previous year’s engagement level.

It goes to show that even when the client howls the safe word, I still deliver a concept with satisfying sting.
