First Day of Filming for 62mph

Yesterday we started filming for 62mph.com. It was a long day and we had a lot of stuff to work out, but I think overall it went really well. We went on a canyon drive outside of Phoenix and had a really good time. The drive went really well, and we found a place that was nice and secluded where we could get some good shots.
We also started filming in a large parking lot, however people have a tendency to want to alert the police of anything and so we had to leave rather abruptly. We did however get some good photos during this time. None of them were of us driving however.
In the future I think things will go a lot faster. Maybe a few hours tops. Most of the shots are going to be pretty similar. I think we need to have a couple of people with us doing sound and video in the future. This will allow Allen and I to be on camera together more often and be able to interact which is what we are looking to accomplish.
We should be launching the site this week once we finish editing the first video. I am also working on matching the layout and search functionality for the site to a wordpress blog which will also be featuring regular news.
Here is a sample of some of the footage that we shot this weekend. The quality is not quite what I was hoping for. We plan on also providing the videos on iTunes as podcasts.
